Support
the
Hearth
The Elder Paths is being built as a nonprofit Pagan religious and educational organization that can support many associated traditions without erasing what makes them distinct. Our goal is not to flatten Paganism into one belief system or gather everyone under one narrow practice. Our goal is to build a durable structure where affiliated traditions, clergy, leaders, seekers, and community members can stand together with greater legitimacy, accountability, support, and public recognition.
Many Pagan traditions are rich in wisdom, devotion, and sacred practice, but lack the formal structures that governments, hospitals, military systems, schools, prisons, and other public institutions often expect when recognizing religious communities. The Elder Paths seeks to help close that gap by building responsible systems for education, clergy training, religious research, member support, ethical leadership, mutual aid, and organizational recognition.
Your donation helps turn that vision into reality. Every gift supports the foundation of a broader Pagan institution: one that can preserve and study sacred texts, train future clergy, support affiliated traditions, develop community resources, care for members, and help Pagan paths be taken seriously in the places where recognition matters.
What Your Donation Supports:
Develop Pagan educational resources for seekers, families, leaders, and affiliated traditions.
Support historical and religious research, including work with texts such as the Hávamál and other sources important to Pagan study, ethics, and spiritual reflection.
Build formal clergy training pathways rooted in ethical leadership, religious literacy, community care, ritual practice, accountability, and service.
Create resources for affiliated Pagan traditions that want recognition, structure, guidance, and support without losing their own identity.
Strengthen Pagan legitimacy in public institutions, including interfaith spaces, hospitals, prisons, military settings, schools, and civic life.
Prepare future leaders for chaplaincy and public service, including long-term goals around recognized Pagan chaplaincy.
Develop mutual aid and community care systems so The Elder Paths can eventually support members and communities in practical ways.
Maintain the basic infrastructure of the organization, including the website, email, domain, records, compliance tools, educational platforms, and public communications.
More Than a Donation. This is Building a Foundation.
Many Pagan communities are rich in wisdom, practice, and devotion, but lack the formal structures that larger institutions often expect. Without recognized clergy systems, educational standards, administrative support, and public-facing organization, Pagan communities can be overlooked, misunderstood, or excluded from spaces where religious legitimacy matters.
The Elder Paths is working to change that.
We are building a shared hearth where many Pagan paths can stand together: not as one flattened belief system, but as a stronger, more organized community with the tools to teach, serve, protect, and be recognized.
Your gift helps make that possible.
Help Carry the Flame Forward
The Elder Paths is still young, but the need is real. Pagan communities deserve education, recognition, trained leadership, mutual support, and institutions built with care.
Your support helps us build the hearth where that future can begin.
Frequently Asked Questions

The Elder Paths is a Washington nonprofit corporation and has applied for federal recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). While our application is pending, donors do not have advance assurance that contributions are tax-deductible. If the IRS approves our application for the period in which your donation was made, your contribution may be tax-deductible. Donors should consult a tax advisor about their individual situation. The IRS explains that pending applicants may generally treat themselves as exempt while awaiting a determination, but deductibility depends on final approval for the relevant period.
